Storms continue to shift southward... At 400 PM...Doppler radar showed a large area of rain and embedded strong storms from south Lake County to the greater Orlando area to just north of Cape Canaveral. Numerous showers and storms were also occurring south of this line...all the way to Lake Okeechobee and Jupiter. The activity was generally moving east to northeast at 30 to 40 mph...with most of the stronger cells over southern lake... Orange...Osceola and Brevard counties. Conditions remain quite favorable for storms to acquire rotation... And to produce tornado touchdowns. Strong gusty winds...street flooding from torrential rainfall amounts between 2 to 4 inches... And small hail,. Pea to Dime size...can also be expected through Sunset. A tornado watch remains in effect for all of east central Florida until 6 PM.
